The Work

Paver, stone and wall work from our owner's four decades of building. These are from his years in Southern California, before the move to Idaho. Treasure Valley projects join them as they finish.

Hardscape & Landscape Services in Boise, ID

Hardscape gives a yard its structure, and planting finishes it. We do both, so you aren't coordinating two contractors.

Hardscaping

Patios, walls and steps with the base done properly, so they are still level after years of Idaho freeze and thaw.

  • Retaining walls
  • Fire pits & outdoor living areas
  • Driveway & border stonework

Why Homeowners Call Curb Appeal

The base comes first

Most patios that sink or heave failed underneath. We dig, gravel and compact properly, because that's the part you can't fix later.

Clear written estimates

You get the scope and the price in writing, plus an honest start date, before anything is signed.

Built for Idaho ground

Clay soil and freeze-thaw winters are hard on stonework. Every patio and wall is planned for the conditions your yard actually lives in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of projects do you take on?
Residential hardscape and landscape projects across the Treasure Valley: paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire features, landscape design, sod, planting and full yard transformations.
Which Treasure Valley cities do you serve?
We serve Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley, including Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Kuna, Star and Caldwell. If you're nearby but not listed, reach out — we may still be able to help.
How does the estimate and design process work?
Request an estimate by phone or through our form, we visit your property for an on-site consultation, you receive a clear plan and proposal, and once approved we build and do a final walkthrough with you.
How soon can a project start?
Start dates depend on the season and our current schedule. Contact us with your project details and we'll give you an honest timeline up front.
Why is base preparation such a big deal?
It is the part you never see and the only part that decides whether your patio is still flat in ten winters. Idaho freeze-thaw cycles will find any shortcut underneath: too little compacted gravel, no drainage, or a base that was not brought out past the edge of the paving. It is also the first thing a cheap bid quietly cuts, because nobody can see it once the job is done. If you are comparing quotes, ask each contractor how deep their base is and what they are compacting it with.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Workmanship is warranted, and paver manufacturers carry their own warranty on the product itself, which we pass through to you. We will put the terms in writing with your proposal so there is nothing to argue about later.
When is the best time of year to build in the Treasure Valley?
Spring through autumn is the main season, and late summer into autumn is often the easiest to schedule because the spring rush has passed and the ground is dry and workable. Hardscape can be installed later into the year than planting can, since pavers and walls do not need to establish before the frost. Booking over the winter for a spring start is usually the way to get the date you want.
